Use Cubes for Toys

Cubes for toys are genius. If you have a bookshelf, space under a table or bench, or any other area that can hold a cube, measure the space and invest in some cubes. Target and Lowe's both carry collapsible cubes in a variety of colors. If you feel creative, paint faces of your child's favorite cartoon characters on the side - red cube for Elmo, blue for Thomas, etc. Children love to be in control of their space and belongings, and parents love a clutterless look. Cubes are easy enough for a toddler to manipulate and help introduce the idea of putting toys away.
